Before Editing
Gina’s likes included the outdoors, cooking, and she was just such a happy person. She loved the beach and we would go as often as we could. We would also cook new dishes together. She loved to take photos of the new dishes we made. We spent so many wonderful days together and it’s hard to imagine life without her. We had a very deep connection. Life wasn’t always easy, but I want to always remember the good times.

Although like many of you, I am experiencing a deep sense of loss, I also feel comforted by the connection I had with Gina. I am especially grateful that I got to witness Gina experience so many moments of peace and joy, despite the many challenges life threw her way.
Gina absolutely loved the outdoors and we spent any free time we had at the beach. As many of you know, she was also a foodie, so we found it really special to spend time creating new dishes. She was definitely the lead chef! I am so thankful to have many of those photos to remind me of her adventurous and creative spirit.
This grief is tremendous, but how blessed am I to have had such a deep connection with someone in this lifetime? I know how rare that is. I will always treasure these memories.
